trains in Japan are THAT fast

I think this is caused by slow scanline processing on the iPhone cam ( just guessing here). I wonder if the same problem still exists on the 3GS.

So you have an iPhone?

The question is, can you now determine the scan rate given the speed of the train?

yep,they had a promo (now ongoing for the 3GS, i think) where you get the 8GB iPhone for free and the 16GB one for 480yen a month.

I can confirm that Japanese trains produce the same result on the 3GS
